Mitsubishi Elevator Traction Sheave Permanent Magnet All Size

Traction sheave is the core component of elevator traction machine, realizing car lifting through the friction between steel wire rope and car/counterweight. Mitsubishi traction sheaves are divided into two main types for geared (early GPS series) and permanent magnet synchronous gearless (Lingyun/Lingyun ZPML series, EM series) traction machines. The specification is marked as "diameter × rope groove pitch × number of rope grooves /shaft hole" (e.g., 400×5×8, 620×6×12), corresponding to elevator models with different load capacities and speeds.

The main body of original Mitsubishi traction sheave is made of ductile iron QT600-3 (high strength, impact resistance). The rope groove surface adopts two processes: carburizing quenching+precision grinding or polyurethane/wear-resistant nylon composite pad. The carburized layer depth is 0.8–1.2mm, and the surface hardness is HRC58–62, which effectively reduces the wear of steel wire rope, prolongs service life and prevents slipping. Gearless models generally adopt integral casting forming+dynamic balance correction (≤0.05g·m), with oil-resistant epoxy protective coating, suitable for oil pollution and humid environment in machine room/hoistway.
